Screen captures from some of my lectures in the MOOC.
I've had several people ask me if I get paid to do this MOOC.  Absolutely not!  I am a professor and that is my only source of income.  As a professor I'm required to teach 12 credits a semester, do department, school, university, and community service, develop professionally, and publish peer reviewed literature.  This MOOC falls under community service.  In other words, I worked on the MOOC mainly on my weekends.  So why do I do it?  I teach a maximum of 120 students a semester and this was an opportunity to reach more people.  The reason I've been trying so hard to advertise the course is because we put so much work into it, we'd love to see it reach as many people as possible!  Science literacy is a passion of mine and I'd do anything to live in a world where decisions are made based on critical thinking and evidence.

Update:  All youtube videos are located on the denial101x youtube channel.  Please use them in your teaching, or share with your friends!

We're offering a self-paced version of the course starting July 1st.
